Seeking Whales, Snails and Puppy Dog Entrails

This is the name of the new series I'm working on, I am excited because it has been on my mind for a while, my first thought of it came to me in July 2011, in previous post here or in my mind, I mentioned how much I disliked 2011 and all the crap I went through, if you don't, to sum it up I spent most of 2011 marinating in shame and regret... many ups and downs like a roller coaster you never wanted to be on and is too late to get off, I finally got all this emotions together in paper, I have been writing, studying color theory, taking pictures,looking at the world around me, drawing, paying attention... also I am happy, like for real piece of mind happy.
So fiiiiinally I got canvas in the mail and I started painting Friday night and I feel so filled with love for what I am doing. It's amazing... so the first piece is Seeking Whales, here are a couple of pics from first layer and second of the painting ::))

I'll be posting progress only on here because I'm pretty sure at most 4 people read my blog and honestly I like it that way ;)
